My life has recently gone from 0-60 about as fast as a Porsche 911 and it’s very exciting! I have recently moved from Chicago and am now a Colorado Springs resident, where I plan on establishing some real roots. Over the past six-ish years, I’ve lived in five states for college and work. It feels like the right time to find my home. Lately my mind has kept nagging me (but now I realize it was a wonderful reminder) that I have not entirely been living the life I have always imagined. Granted, the life I’ve imagined has changed and reshaped itself over the years; nonetheless, I haven’t fully begun living it. That nagging has lead to the creation of this site. Reading has always been a passion of mine and I wanted to be able to spread the joy of escaping into the beautiful, futuristic, dark, heroic, and magical worlds that books create for us. Helping others is also something I dedicate myself to. As of late, I do not believe I have done enough, and this blog is one of the many steps I am taking to improve upon that. If you have questions or would like to make reading recommendations, please do not hesitate to reach out!

As you follow my explorations (which I sincerely hope you do!), you’ll see my reviews on what I have recently read and stories of western, mountainous adventures with lovely friends.

  2. Welcome to Colo. Spgs., Ashley!
Imagine my surprise when I clicked on your page and up popped Pikes Peak! I am from Colorado Springs and regrettably retired to FL where I am taking Blog 101. If it were not for the forever winter and now older bones, believe me, I would be back there in a heart beat. Florida is no place for a Western girl. I will look forward to your blogs.
